The Family Journal. This idea was inspired by Vanessa a good friend of ours. She was really into leaving a history of our lives for our kids, grand kids, great grand kids etc. Leave them something that would really allow them to get to know us better.
I like to suggest the journal be a coffee table item, allowing ourselves but also any family or friends that come to visit to write a little something. Just capture those memorable days.
The journal is approx 15 x 13, made with the beetle killed pine, wrapped with cowhide and the title burned in. It also comes with colored paper pre written with titles i.e. Date, who is making the entry, the weather and the memories being captured.
