This is an incredible piece! Made of the beautiful beetle killed pine. Mike hand picks the rough cut beetle killed pine boards, plains them (well actually if the truth be known - Maggie is the master plainer!) rips them, sands them etc. Note the beautiful colors in the wood including reds, grays and browns.
Mike has spent many hours on this cabinet getting it just right. The leather that runs along the top (custom made/stamped just for this gun cabinet) has a basket stamp which includes the head of a Ram every i.e. 6 inches. There is also leather lining the slots, top and bottom, where the rifles sit.
The door handles are hand carved and are very unique. The rifle cabinet as well as the amunition drawer include a lock. Also included are seven gun locks.
The only thing left to finish is the installation of the tempered glass.
